I recently watched Winchester Cathedral's wonderful service dedicated to Anna Chaplaincy. Anna Chaplaincy is an organization that helps the elders emotionally and spiritually and when you help, you become an Anna friend. I think that it would be GREAT if we donate our proceeds for our DRAGON CODEX book, in which I am a contributing author, to this charity!
Here is the message that I shared in our DRAGON CODEX group on Kevin Humphrey's website: English Mystic
Can we donate the proceeds from the Dragon Codex to a charity? I FOUND ONE that I want to contribute to or ask to consider it as an option. My mom is 83 years old and I am her caregiver. Since 2019, she has not been working as a children's librarian and since she loves to write and read to children, I gave her my book, Dragons of the Stone Circle, to edit. My book is about young Catherine journeying with Dragons to Winchester Cathedral (UK) from Greenwich, CT (US) (Amazon UK book here)
Editing kept my elder mom busy and gave her a sense of purpose. We were able to publish our book on Amazon and gift our book to the grandchildren (my nieces) just in time for Christmas 2025! Just a few days ago, I was watching Winchester Cathedral Live celebrate Anna Chaplaincy, an organization that offers support to older people emotionally and spiritually.
So I would love to donate to Winchester Cathedral's Anna Chaplaincy, in honor of the Winchester Cathedral's White Rose Dragons that inspired my book, Dragons of the Stone Circle. This is exactly what I have done for my mom as a caregiver, I could be considered an "Anna Friend" in the US!
Also, an added idea that I had, Kev, if you feel generous with your new book service creating your own dragon adventure, maybe someway, you could offer that service to the Anna Chaplaincy clients, and the elders could create a book for their grandchildren, just as I created one for my mom! Dragon Blessings!!
