Navigating the Blue Pearl

Navigating the Blue Pearl

Above is an image of Bhagawan Nityananda, Swami Muktananda's Guru, who he calls the Blue Pearl.

I am currently reading Swami Muktananda's book, the Play of Consciousness, and I am finding his material to be mirroring my experience, such as the discovery of the dual nature of dragons, and the life force of Chit, and how it is very similar to Christ, or Divine Order.

In honor of Carl Jung's concept of synchronocity, I am sharing an image from his Red Book. Here is an image by Carl Jung of what I think looks like "an honoring of the the Blue Pearl" or a ceremony revering the power of the Pearl, the cross in the center of a circle, a mandala, being God-centered.

Swami Muktananda wrote Play of Consciousness and he shares about the dual nature of reality, the masculine and feminine, the two dragons, masculine dragons and feminine dragons:

"She reveals Herself in every visible activity in life. She appears in various forms, favorable or unfavorable, helpful or obstructive. The Pratyabhijnahridayam says, tannana anurupa grahya grahaka bhedat, "She becomes manifold in the variety of mutually related objects and subjects."

Revealing Herself in this way, supremely free Chiti becomes the thirty-six principles of creation through Her own will. She appears as masculine and feminine, or Purusha and Prakriti. Of the many differentiations in the world, these are the main two-Purusha and Prakriti, masculine and feminine. These distinctions pervade every-thing. Birds, animals, and trees are also divided into these two categories. In other activities, too, there is a dual distinction which permeates infinite forms: high and low, virtue and sin, bondage and liberation, ecstasy and anxiety, and so on. Yet it is the same Chiti that has become the perceiver and the perceived What I wish to convey is that the world is permeated by Chiti, belongs to Chiti, is Chiti. If you see with the eyes of true knowl-edge, you will find nothing but Chiti in the world."

As I am reading the Play of Consciousness, I am reading an Autobiography of a Yogi by Paramhamsa Yogananda, and here I am learning about Kriya Yoga, the journey he had of bringing Yoga from India to America. He also wrote the Yoga of Jesus and explains the lost years of Jesus and how he spent them in India meditating, going within.

The Pearl Dragon Consciousness is guiding me to read these two books that seem to be mirroring my voyage within, furthering my practice of meditation practice, and deepening my awarness of what is means to be a human being.
